LEADING THE WAY IN CREATING NEW PADDLE | BIKE | HIKE "ADVENTURE PATHWAYS"

ADVENTURE PATHS

What are Paddle | Bike | Hike " Adventure Paths"?   They are simply creative pathways that people might discover or develop outdoors and share with others.   They involve creative ways to experience the selected outdoor space.

There were two problems to solve...
#1 - A single person, or even two or more people, might find it hard, or inconvenient to bring two vehicles to kayak down a river.  (Often an extra car or truck is needed )

One Solution:   Go to a park next to a river and make loops in the river near the park.

An Adenture Path, published online helps to solve that.

It is easy to go over 2 miles on the river at Moratock Park (if this seems to fit you for for an adventure activity, you should go and do this)

#2 - A single person might want to minimize risks by paddling near a public space,

#1 - THE MORATOCK PARK - PBH ADVENTURE PATH

This ADVENTURE PATH involves kayaking LOOPS on the Dan River in the fall (particularly in October) at a popular Stokes County Park. which is called Moratock Park. This park has some interesting history with an early American iron furnace on the property, as well as other hiking/walking, sports, and picnicking / meeting shelters.
